After taking the Multiple Intelligences Survey I found that my two highest scores were in style 4 and 6, both with a score of 24. Style 4 Bodily-Kinesthetic – the ability to use the body and tools to take effective action, to construct or repair, to build rapport, to console, to persuade, or to support others; to plan strategically or to critique the actions of the body, to appreciate the aesthetics of the body and to use those values to create new forms of expression. I definitely think that this describes me well because I do build strong connections with others and value my relationships with them. I also appreciate the aesthetics of the body through the clothes I wear; I personally think clothing is one of the biggest forms of art and such a great way to express yourself. Style 6, Interpersonal, is the ability to organize people and to communicate clearly what needs to be done, to use empathy to help others and solve problems, to discriminate and interpret among different kinds of interpersonal clues, and to influence and inspire others to work toward a common goal. I think that a scored high on this is because I am a very good at giving advice I really take in what people have to say and put my best knowledge forth. I can also read people very well and am very sympathetic towards others. As for style 8 which is, the ability to recognize and classify plants, minerals, and animals, including rocks, grass, and all variety of flora and fauna, and to recognize patterns and cultural artifacts, I scored the lowest on. I definitely scored lowest on this because I am not really a nature person.
